Examining clothing for blood

Luminol test is a test that is used for large areas where blood is not visible. It

must be viewed in a darkened area. Luminol is extremely sensitive about

10,000 times diluted. Because luminol is known to destroy many important

blood factors necessary for the forensic characterization of blood, its use

should be limited only to seeking out blood invisible to the naked eye.
